The Best and the Worst

Today is our last day here. (sniff) Our parents are coming today, which is good to because we have been away from home for two weeks!!

Yesterday we went to Callie's Pretzel Factory. It was really good too  but, if you ever been to JoJo's Pretzel,  JoJo's still wins. Then we went to the Largest General store in the world (or so they say) and it was so serendipitous! (like my new word? It's cool, huh?) We saw the real gold record and real sheet music of the Beatles song "Something"!! See, now isn't it serendipitous? It was AWESOME!!

 Today I'm gonna do best and worst parts of the trip. Here is what Trev's are: " The worst part was Papa getting mad at me. The best part was seeing the deer in the forest at the campground and the water park." Mine are: " The worst part was being away from my parents for so long. The best part was going to the Hershey chocolate factory."


Well, it is time to go home, thanks for checking out our blog. We had fun doing it. I might post a new entry here and there through the summer but not that often, because I have to watch Trevor throughout the summer. Hope you all liked the blog. - Cate and Trevor!!

Yesterday we went to Raymondskills falls. It is the tallest waterfall in Pennsylvania, it is also only four feet smaller the Niagara falls!! Jeannie told Papa and I and I thought that couldn't be true.

Once we got back to the RV Papa, Jeannie, and Trevor went to the water park, I stayed at the RV and did Cate stuff. Just read my Beatles magazine and listened to Beatles music, you know, the regular stuff for Cate.

Yesterday we went to a new campground called Timothy Lake. After we got settled, we went to the water park at the campground. That's about it for yesterday.

Trev's sentence instead of a drawing, it says " I went down a slide. I swam with my sister. Jeannie chased me.

Today we went on a hike called Dingmans Falls. We had lunch by a river again! Then we were going to go to another hike but we couldn't find it so we gave up. Once we got back, me, Trev and Papa went back to the water park and had lots of fun!! Jeannie made an awesome dinner.

Today we went to the Hershey Chocolate Factory!! We went to a 3D show that showed the history of the Hershey Chocolate Bar. Did you know that Hershey Chocolate was created by a man name Milton Hershey? After that we made our own candy bar!! It was simply superb! Then we shopped for CHOCOLATE!!

Later, after we were done at the factory we once again went to Friendly's! The service was fantastic! The food was stunningly great, the price and I can't stress this enough was EXCEPTIONAL!!!! Two thumbs up for sure!!

Yesterday we didn't do much but we are here in Pennsylvania near The Hershey Chocolate Factory!!

Today we had a lot of fun. We went to a zoo in Pennsylvania it wasn't very big but it was really cool. Then we went to the Hershey Chocolate Factory. We went on a ten minute tour it showed how the chocolate was made, it was really cool. After that we went to Friendly's it was a great meal at a great price. The ice cream was delicious!! We came back to the RV stuffed. After we got back we went to the arcade, Trev and I had a great time.

On the road once again. Haven't done much today, just on my Ipod listening to music. Trev is playing on his DS. Yeah, we are just relaxing, for now once we get to Pennsylvania we are going to the Hershey Chocolate Factory!!! We are staying at an RV park for three or four days, then we will go to an RV park near Gettysburg!! I think we are staying there for three days, then our parents are coming to stay for two days. YAY!! Then (Sniff) me and Trev are going back to Indiana. But I miss my house for sure and my puppy Izzy, and my room!!

Right now we are in West Virginia and staying here for one night. So that's about it so see you later!! :-D

Yesterday, we went to Great Smokies National Park and had a picnic lunch by the river. Me and Trev got the better rock to sit on, we named it Cate and Trevor Rock! We had sandwiches, chips and juice pouches. We went to put our feet in the water but it was too slippery to stand on the little rocks on the bottom of the river.

Today we were on the road, we are going to  Pennsylvania!! ( If I haven't already told you) Just where I wanted to go! We are in Virginia right now and we have been here for about twenty minutes now. We don't know where we are going to to tomorrow. Papa hasn't figured that out yet. That's about all we have done today,we haven't done much today. So see you later!! :-)

The Cade's Cove Loop

Yesterday, me, Trev,  Eldon (or as we like to call him Papa) and Jeannie, went to Cade's Cove. We saw two really big bucks and one little buck, saw two small does, some turkey, and wait for it --drum roll, please..... a BEAR!!!! It was a really big one too. We were in a what Jeannie likes to call it a bear jam. :-)  
I got a really bad picture but Jeannie of course, got a good picture. But I guess taking a picture with an Ipod is a lose, lose ( but great for entertainment ) Jeannie had a real camera. 

Before we went to Cade's Cove, we moved to a new RV park called Cove Creek RV Resort. It is kind of boring here but more fun than the other RV park. There is a game room with a ping pong table, there is table soccer and an air hockey table. There is a pool but it's not very big. Last night there were fireworks at the park, they weren't the best, but they were okay. Trev was also kind of a brat yesterday. 

Yesterday, we went to Bubba's Country Cookin. It was really good especially their apple juice, just ask Trev. Trev said their grilled cheese sandwich was just good, their regular burger was good too.

Today me & Trev went to Clingman's Dome! We were 6,688 feet up high! At first we drove up, then we walked a half mile up to the  dome. Me and Trev had a lot of  fun on the way up and down. We met a man named Gary, Trev made friends with his  four kids. I think they were from Kansas.

Yesterday, me, Trev and Jeannie went to see the new film "Brave". It was a  really fascinating movie. The main character,Merida, gets annoyed with her mother, Eleanor, who is always telling her what a princess should and should not do. Then her mother gets turned into a bear and has to be, well... Brave! Trev thought and I quote, well, "AWESOME!!"

Trev did a picture today. I thought it was really cute!! :-)

After we got back to Gatlinburg,Tennessee we went to a frozen yogurt shop called Tutti Frutti. It was quite good really. Trev thought it was an ice cream shop but it wasn't. If I were any of you I would also go to Mad Dog's Creamery.

Hey, this is Cate and my weird little brother Trevor's first post! C&T's Awesome Adventures is a blog about mine and Trevor's adventure around the United States. Me and Trev are staying with our grandparents for two weeks! Some people may know our grandparents blog, "Where's Eldo?". Yep, our grandpa is Eldon and our grandma is Jeannie. What a coincidence, huh?

If you want to know a little about me here you are, I'm 12 years old, I turned 12 about 2 months ago, I love music, but not today's music I like older music, I LOVE The Beatles! I do a lot of sports I love softball, soccer and a sport that I'm really good at is called Tae Kwon Do, I'm a brown belt! My best friend is Katelynne and she moved in the middle of June, I miss you, Katelynne. Check out my blog some time!


Trevor is my 8 year old little brother and he just turned 8 six days ago! Trevor is interested in "PokeMon" and he also LOVES "Legos" anything Legos-- Star Wars, Lego Indiana Jones, Lego
